Tamworth is gaining national recognition thanks to the award-winning Tamworth Tap, which has recently featured in The Telegraph’s list of 20 British bucket list destinations. The popular town centre pub has also been named CAMRA National Pub of the Year three times — in 2025, 2023 and 2022 — making it the only pub in the country to achieve the title on three occasions.
